EOS Flight Operations Team Manager

KBR is looking for a Flight Operations Team Manager to support the Ground Systems and Mission Operations (GSMO-2) Contract at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center for the Earth Observing System (EOS) Flight Operations Team (FOT) in support of the Terra, Aqua, and Aura spacecraft.
The EOS FOT Manager is responsible for oversight of the real-time spacecraft operations for the SDO spacecraft, personnel management for all assigned direct reports and Task Order Lead Management for GSMO-2 Task Order 013.
Tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Through subordinate managers, direct the performance of operational tasks, oversee the financial, technical and quality performance, and ensure adherence to corporate valuesProvide technical direction and instruction relative to complex problems and the resolution of operations or engineering issues affecting EOS mission operationsConduct or oversee special studies and investigations related to project activities and recommend changes as appropriate to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and meet changed or new requirementsEstablish department objectives, work plans, and schedules, and ensure resources are available for the completion of tasks and assignmentsProvide Task Order leadership, develop Task Implementation Plans and cost proposalsPlan for and direct the work of subcontractor employees supporting the taskInteract with customers on issues needing technical guidance, direction, and/or resolution and in reporting of weekly and monthly statusPerform financial analysis, assess cost variances, implement corrective actions, and brief customer Task Monitor on financial performanceChampion or lead multi-discipline and/or cross-functional teamsAct as a consultant, conducting briefings and technical meetings for Senior ManagementLead the long-term planning process and develop strategic operating initiatives for departments that support organizational objectivesAnticipate and plan for skills and human resource requirements, and develop staff to meet those needsConduct performance evaluations, plan salary actions, recommend hires and promotionsInterpret and apply organization policies, and provide leadership toward resolving employee problemsPerform all other duties as assignedRequired Education & ExperienceBS in Aerospace Engineering or other related engineering discipline/technical degreeMinimum of 10 years of Spacecraft Operations experience including spacecraft subsystem engineering experiencePrior spacecraft Flight Operations Team engineering and management experienceDemonstrated leadership skills in the coaching and development of managers and technical engineering professionals.
Mentoring and process integration skills.
Team building and facilitation skillsProven ability to communicate with all levels, internal and external, technical, or non-technicalKnowledge of advanced concepts in spacecraft engineering and operationsSupervisory experiencePreferred
Experience:
Previous NASA Spacecraft Operations experience in a lead rolePrevious management/Task Order Lead experienceDomain knowledge and experience with GSFC spacecraft operations, especially prior EOS flight operations experienceEOS Spacecraft subsystem engineering leadership experience and EOS spacecraft ground system engineering experienceEOS Spacecraft FOT management and leadership experience.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
