Responsibilities:
Seeking a Senior Integration & Test (I) Electrical Engineer on the OMES II contract in support of the Capture/Containment Return System (CCRS) project, part of the Mars Sample Return (MSR) mission.
This position is located in Greenbelt, MD.
CCRS is a joint effort between Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC), NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), and the European Space Agency (ESA).
The MSR mission aims to collect samples from the Martian surface and return those samples to Earth for analysis.
Many components of CCRS will be developed, integrated, and tested at GSFC.
The engineer will provide EE support for the CCRS Integration and Test team.
Job Duties Include:
Development of several test procedures to support subsystem level testing:
Electrical integration of subsystem with corresponding Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE)Generating the associated Work Order Authorization (WOA) for the various tasks associated with the electrical integration and qualification testing of the subsystemWork closely with the Test Conductors to develop the subsystem's Comprehensive Performance Test procedure to fully test the subsystem.
This procedure will also be used to verify Level 4 requirements while the subsystem is exposed to environmental testingWork closely with the Lab Manager to assure adequate equipment is available and calibrated to support multiple parallel subsystem level testsWork closely with the EGSE Designer and manufacturing team to review design documentationCoordinate with Quality Assurance team to inspect, review or oversee activities associated with the subsystemSupport subsystem and payload design reviewsSupport weekly tag-ups with the Avionics subsystem and other stakeholdersTravel to support delivery of subsystem to various external partners (JPL, ESA)
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experienceKnowledgeable with Command and Data Handling units and Power Distribution designRecent experience handling and testing space flight hardwareExperience with hardware integration and test, system verification and validation, and/or systems engineering, preferably at NASA or in aerospaceExperience in executing tests, including functional testing (front-end, back-end, and performance testing)Experience with NASA mission life cycle and review cycle (design reviews, requirements reviews, integration reviews, trade studies, etc.
)Experienced at authoring and maintaining documentationProficiency in resolving technical and schedule issues in order to ensure that deliverables are met on scheduleProficiency in exercising discretion and independent judgment in evaluating potential approaches and solutions to critical problems and determining appropriate resolutionsProficiency in recommending deviations from established policies and procedures.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
