Medical Assistant Floater

Seeking a Medical Assistant who is clinically and clerically cross trained for front and back office to float to all locations when needed.
As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication such as:
Check patients in and out/ referrals/ insurance verificationInterview patients and document medical historyUpdate medical records via EMRAssist during medical examinationsPrepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instrumentsSupply InventoryPerform various injections and phlebotomy as neededAssist the Doctor with minor proceduresComplete medical paperwork/ formsSchedule appointments, and more REQUIREMENTS MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE CPR Certification from the American Heart AssociationExperience with EMR, as we are completely paperlessKnowledge of medical terminologyExcellent customer service skillsAble to use Microsoft suitesStrong organizational and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask efficiently and effectivelyAct calmly and effectively in a busy or stressful situationCommunicate effectively in the English language in person, by phone and in writingAdhere to all clinic policies and procedures, including but not limited to standards for safety, attendance, punctuality and personal appearanceKnowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding and Prior AuthorizationsJob Type:
