Project Manager II - Healthcare

Overview The Project Manager II will be responsible for supporting the World Trade Center Health Program (WTCHP) Program Office in the planning and execution of assigned projects.
In addition, they will serve as a working member of the project teams in a hands-on capacity.
This includes organizing and effectively leading various project activities to execute project plans ensuring project goals and objectives are met.
The Project Manager II will also work with the key stakeholders to capture the project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout its implementation.
Please note this position can be remote but preference will be given to candidates who can telework to Greenbelt, MD or Atlanta, GA.
Responsibilities Conduct research and analyze data, processes and systems related to assigned projects Work with the Director of Quality, department leadership and stakeholders to manage project plans including budget, communications plan, project scope, project time-line and milestones Manage progress of projects and completes all assigned projects within specified time frames Assign tasks and responsibilities to appropriate team members and track project milestones and deliverables; may perform the bulk of the work for smaller scale projects Pro-actively manage, track, and resolve cross-project dependencies, risks, issues/conflicts, and change requests to ensure that all targets and requirements are met Support the Director of Quality in communicating with project stakeholders on project expectations and status Participate in project post implementation meetings and create recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements Assist in strategic planning activities for the assigned area Identify and define business needs and opportunities for improvement Conduct stakeholder analysis, plan the execution of business analysis tasks and communication, update or change the approach to business analysis as needed Perform investigative work to determine business requirements and specify effective business processes through improvements in information systems, information management, practices, procedures and organizational change Determine requirements using interviews, document analysis, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, user stories, scenarios and tasks, and workflow analysis Consult with subject matter experts, technical experts, end users and other stakeholders to gather information about functions, features, data requirements, input requirements, output requirements, interfaces with other systems, etc.
Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconciles conflicts, segments high-level information into details, and abstracts up from low-level information to a general understanding Progressively elaborate the stated requirements to sufficient level of detail that accurately define the business need within the specified solution scope Validate that requirements meet the business need Document business, task, and workflow processes using industry standard methods including business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, diagrams, flow charts, etc.
, ensuring that these deliverables can be used to design a solution to the stated business problem Assess solutions to ensure that goals are met and requirements are satisfied, including assessment of request for proposal responses, internal designs, and manual procedures Define acceptance criteria, identify defects, and define and validate corrective actions Confirm that stakeholders have a shared understanding of requirements; manage conflicts and issues to resolution Obtain needed approval of solution requirements Ensure that stakeholders have access to business analysis work products, using communication methods appropriate to departmental stakeholders Serve as liaison and resource to project managers, developers, and other project team members throughout each phase of the process to help clarify and/or resolve issues related to requirement, design, testing and acceptance specifications Assist in project scoping and planning, and work with clients in defining acceptance tests Other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's Degree required in Health Administration, Business Management, Quality Improvement or related field or equivalent experience; Master's Degree preferred At least 5 years of experience in project management 7 years of progressively advanced, related technical experience required Healthcare experience strongly preferred Thorough understanding and experience working through iterative business processes and solutions projects Well-versed in Microsoft Office products including emphasis on PowerPoint, Word formatting, Excel, Visio and Project Expertise in requirements management, business process, applications and systems, facilitation, negotiation skills, and RFP development and technical evaluation Strong facilitation skills Strong analytical and problem solving skills Demonstrated knowledge and application of technical writing techniques Strong organizational and critical thinking skills Knowledge of project management practices Ability to develop and deliver presentations Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills Skill in fact-finding and data collection Ability to analyze and develop business and technical requirements Business process and data modeling Ability to lead and facilitate meetings and groups Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to interpret and evaluate client informational needs and to determine appropriate alternative solutions Knowledge of computer flow charts Ability to evaluate and interpret end user information requirements Experience working within a matrixed quality framework; Quality/Audit experience preferred Skills in conflict resolution Ability to work collaboratively with employees at all levels of the organization Background check required Recommended Skills Analytical Auditing Business Analysis Business Management Business Processes Business Requirements Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
