Duties and
Responsibilities:
Compliance Administer, Monitor, and Update FMLA, ADA, and local leave laws Act as point of contact for STD, LTD, and Workers Compensation Claims Participate in annual benefits renewal process; coordinate meetings, materials, education, enrollment process, etc.
Manage EEO and OSHA Compliance process Maintain I-9 records and audit accordingly Act as back up for New Hire Benefits Orientation; be able to answer employee questions Create and maintain compliance calendar, take the lead on implementation of compliance activities prior to required deadlines Employee Relations Serve as link between management and employees by handling questions and helping resolve work-related issues Research, develop and monitor strategies to reduce turnover and increase retention Handle unemployment claims; act as point of contact for unemployment in all states Research, coach, and counsel supervisors, Directors & above on employee relations issues Assist with updating and revising the Employee Handbook & CVR Protocols as needed Provide support on performance improvement/ disciplinary actions Assist with onboarding of new hires in multiple states HRIS Process some HRIS maintenance (employee changes, terms, salary adjustments, etc.
) Create and send Semi-monthly payroll report of HRIS changes Inform IT to terminate accounts Send Employee Change Report every Friday to CFO Produce HR reports on weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual basis as needed Off Boarding Assist with exit interviews Manage Unemployment requests Assist employees as needed with COBRA Produce termination benefit notices Overall Leadership Take the lead on HR projects, process improvements, trainings as assigned Represent the company at personnel-related hearings and investigations Assist with front desk and facility issues when necessary All other duties as assigned QualificationsMinimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or related field Preferred PHR, SPHR,SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP Certification Strongly Preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Human Resources role Recommended Skills Auditing Claim Processing Coaching And Mentoring Human Resources Human Resources Information System (Hris) Labor Relations Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
