As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will oversee the review and monitoring process with regards to all aspects of ELITES CARE LLC Health Services related to service delivery and report findings to Program Director.
Service delivery can include but is not limited to data collection, ensuring file compliance, mandated trainings for all employees and environmental inspections.
RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure QA member is accurately auditing, conducting and monitoring employee files, facility inspections, incident response and reporting, and data review in accordance to the Department of Disability Services/Commonwealth of Virginia policy and procedures Conduct investigations for all incidents occurring at Elites Care, including Level I incidents, and recording and tracking those quarterly Ensure timely responsiveness and deliverables for monitoring and reviewing daily system performance and quality assurance functions for service delivery Increase quality of service operations by performing root cause analysis to discover the underline issues and recommending or providing improvement plans to the program director.
Establish and maintain collaborative relationship with service delivery contractors to ensure timely and accurate complaint resolution Reinforce, emphasize and monitor the importance of safe and professional high-quality customer service provided by the service delivery contractor Review DSP progress notes and daily notes entries in the system to ensure quality and clarity of documentations.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS Respond to EC and achieve all deliverables in a timely manner.
Review of EC files and Service Delivery data to ensure data integrity.
Prepare variety of reports used to measure performance of EC and Service Delivery contractors.
Be able to do field visits to various clients and ELITES CARE LLC satellite offices located throughout Virginia to ensure quality of service is being maintained.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Expert knowledge of Quality Assurance program requirements.
Ability to observe, document and evaluate operations.
Ability to identify service issues and develop effective solutions to resolve operational and technical problems.
Ability to effectively interpret and analyze data.
Ability to prepare and present comprehensive technical reports and briefings.
Excellent oral and written skills.
Superior problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and other standard software applications.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize work and collaborate effectively under pressure.
EDUCATION Associate degree from an Accredited College is required with one year of experience in Quality Assurance in healthcare field, may be substituted for five additional years of Quality Assurance experience in a healthcare related field PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS Normal office conditions apply.
Employee must have clear, close vision for reading and computer work.
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, balance, stoop, grasp, talk, hear and operate computer keyboard.
Job may require reaching at shoulder level and below waist.
Will occasionally lift push/pull up to 20 pounds and carry objects 50 feet Job Type:
