To help drive such advancements, Myth Software is assembling a team of seasoned data technologists. The existing Myth Software team has significant experience delivering data and software solutions from conception to production. Team members average 20
years of hands-on experience; they have worked in commercial software startups, financial markets, advertising and marketing analytics firms, and federal agencies.
Responsibilities:
Help drive an iterative approach to systems development by employing industry best practices for early design & prototyping, development, testing, deployment, and production support
Iteratively engage with customers to get feedback and adapt the reports, dashboards, and visualizations to better meet their need of routinely delivering workable, tested code
Develop universes and reports on Business Objects
Develop dashboards and data visualizations on Tableau
Design and model (if necessary) a data mart and/or subject area tuned to the data usage patterns
Conduct performance tuning of the reports and the underlying queries
Implement and maintain Business Objects, and Tableau security and roles
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
BI background
Knowledge of Business Objects platform 4 and Tableau 7.0
Data modeling experience
Expert level of ANSI SQL
Query tuning experience
Experience with Greenplum, Netezza, or any other MPP platform is a plus
Iterative development experience, preferably with Agile ScrumEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
