Part-time Human Resources Assistant/Receptionist


M-NCPPC is currently seeking a part-time (30 hours/wk. Monday-Friday) human resources assistant/receptionist to serve as the Human Resources Department's first point of contact. This position is located in Greenbelt, MD and responsibilities include:
Directing calls and greeting office visitors to ensure prompt and professional delivery of HR matters to the appropriate HR Business Partner; Performing administrative duties; Maintaining database records and compiling reports; Handling privileged and confidential information appropriately; Preparing documents for meetings; ordering and managing office supplies and equipment; filing; tracking and organizing department documents; and performing other related duties as required.
The Human Resources Assistant/Receptionist position requires previous administrative experience; proficiency in MS Office, effective oral and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills. Previous Human Resources experience a plus.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
