Physical Security Technician

Position Summary
Ora Glen Campus Physical Security Technician, assists the Ora Glen Campus Facility Manager perform technical tasks associated with physical security and industrial safety matters for the Ora Glen Campus buildings (7601 Ora Glen Dr., 7615 Ora Glen Dr. and the Maryland Trade Center III 9th floor) during their use as a USCB operating facility. Act in the stead of the Physical Manager when absent.
Responsibilities
Day-to-day management of the Ora Glen Campus physical security
Responsibility for the accurate and timely delivery of all required physical security documents
Establishment and maintenance of a Physical Security Schedule that integrates with the Program Master Schedule. Timely execution of all scheduled tasks.
Knowledge of and experience with Earned Value cost/schedule integration
Management of Physical Security Work Packages (if assigned)
Provide assigned briefing responsibilities for various Program Reviews with the USCB customer and the DOC
Establish relationships with local 1st Responder organizations to assure smooth communications
Respond to, solution, record all pertinent data and close Facility Trouble Ticket/Work Orders for physical security items
Establish and maintain Physical Security property records within the Property Management System to account all physical security equipment
Act as the primary program interface with the subcontracted Guard Force to include
Guard Force schedules and staffing levels
Guard Force performance against all documented requirements
Guard Force contribution to an orderly, yet respectful working environment
Investigate and escalate any reports of Guard Force malfeasance, rudeness, or untoward behavior to a program employee or visitor
Establish, record and report metrics for the Guard Force performance
Skills Required
In-depth knowledge of Lenel Access Control Systems is required, to include the OnGuard Software
Excellent time management, written, verbal, and customer service skills
Organized, Conscientious, Self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills
Thorough understanding of Federal Physical Security requirements
Bachelor degree in Facility Security Management, Cyber Security or other related fields preferred
Knowledge and experience in Property Accounting is a plus
Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
