Chief of Electrical Engineering Division

This position reports to the Director of Engineering and Technology. The Chief of Electrical Engineering Division:
- Plans, organizes, coordinates, and conducts programmatic activities falling within the role and mission of the Electrical Engineering Division. - Sponsors, advances, develops, improves, and validates flight electrical/electronic systems and technologies for suborbital and space based projects. - Implements flight and ground electrical/electronics systems and component technologies for space vehicles and design and development in support of NASA programs and projects, with specific activities in the Goddard Space Flight Center's (GSFC) Earth Science, Space Science, and Technology Focus areas. - Collaborates with the science community and other customers to meet their electrical/electronics and technology needs through the design, implementation, and integration of electrical systems and system components. - Provides technology, capability, and products in electrical/electronic systems design, development, implementation, and test. Operates and maintains laboratories unique to its functions. - Participates in planning of future missions and in the development of standards to guide evolution of future flight and ground electrical systems. - Maintains a strong program of outreach to minority and educational programs. You must have the skill and ability to perform the duties described above as demonstrated by progressively responsible supervisory/leadership experience, normally obtained over several years by serving in positions at the GS-15 level or equivalent. To meet the minimum qualification requirements for this position, you MUST address each Executive Core Qualification (ECQ) and Mandatory Technical Qualification (MTQ) separately. If you fail to do so, your application will be rated ineligible. We recommend you provide two (2) examples of relevant experience for each ECQ. Responses to ALL ECQs must not exceed ten (10) pages; MTQ responses must not exceed one (1) page per MTQ. Please include your full name on all documents submitted. Qualifications:
MTQ 1- Direct practical experience leading and managing a large division or organization of technical professionals, providing guidance, and setting tactical and strategic goals in the development of electrical and electronic systems for suborbital and space based projects. MTQ 2- Demonstrated leadership and vision in the development of advanced flight and ground electrical systems and component technologies to support space vehicles and design and development activities.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
