Engineering Technician
You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11), which has equipped you with the particular competencies needed to successfully perform the duties of the position described above. To qualify for the GS-12:
Specialized experience includes performing duties such as:
reviewing technical drawings for manufacturability with an emphasis on supporting the development of procedures, methods and approaches for solving unique manufacturing issues; and knowledge of production processes used in spaceflight manufacturing to include fabrication, assembly, applications, operations, processes, structures, machinery, devices, and materials.
