In addition to the Basic Education Requirement, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade (GS-13), which has equipped you with the particular competencies needed to successfully perform the duties of the position described above.To qualify for the GS-14:
Specialized experience includes performing duties such as aerospace product development; providing technical expertise in the design and development of state-of-the-art space flight components such as, but not limited to guidance, navigation, and control systems; developing project budgets, schedules, and plans that establish parameters for fabrication, alignment, and assembly of aerospace flight components and electromechanical assemblies used in space flight environments.
